Are you ready to take Lumene Group’s finance foundation to the next level for international growth? We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Director, Financial Controlling to lead our corporate finance team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization is built on a trusted, scalable and well-controlled financial foundation. You will be responsible for high-quality financial reporting, effective tax management, treasury and liquidity management, robust internal controls, and continuously developing automized and scalable finance processes and capabilities that support business performance and future growth.
You will work closely with senior business leaders, external service providers, advisors and banking partners to ensure consistent, compliant and efficient finance operations across all markets. Beyond ensuring compliance and reporting excellence, you will shape the future by driving standardized processes, digitalization, automation and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will:
Ensure the integrity, accuracy and reliability of financial information and ensure a robust and scalable accounting operating model across multiple jurisdictions to support Lumene Group´s strategic growth ambitions
Lead accounting, statutory reporting and IFRS reporting across multiple countries.
Own accounting policies, chart of accounts, financial governance and reporting processes.
Lead all tax-related matters, including tax compliance, governance, transfer pricing and tax risk management.
Own treasury activities, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking relationships and financing support.
Ensure effective internal controls, compliance, audit coordination and financial risk management.
Oversee accounting and tax operations across multiple countries through internal team and external service providers.
Lead the selection, governance and performance management of external accounting, tax and finance partners.
Lead and develop the Accounting & Tax organization and strengthen finance capabilities across the business.
Drive process improvement, automation, digitalization and finance transformation initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team.
What you bring to this role:
10+ years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, treasury or finance leadership roles.
Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory accounting, tax and financial governance and also knowledge. of group accounting and financial consolidation.
Good understanding of treasury, banking, internal controls and risk management.
Proven leadership experience and a track record of developing high-performing teams.
Experience working with outsourced finance services and external partners.
Strong business acumen, communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Drive for results & keen on learning and implementing new things with solution-oriented mindset.
Fluency in Finnish and English.
Experience from the manufacturing sector, preferably within an international organization, is an advantage.
